Trust is the felt sense vehicle that carries this energy that has the capacity to take us into the twilight zone, into the state of zen or flow where we are able to let go of the concepts and allow the pain and discomfort to circulate without resistance.

How can a mind trained to think in concepts go beyond?

That mind is limited by its own constraints and limitations, so how can it realise something that is beyond its own nature?

On event day we must go beyond both the concepts and the ideas we have about ourselves.

We also have to go beyond the training philosophy we adhere to and allow our body to sync with the process.

Out beyond what we think and believe lies the realm of possibility, and you can’t know possibility until you let go of probability.

Probability is not enough!

When the sticks and stones are being thrown, you have to know how to weather that storm.

Best practice brings us to the point where we have to be able to let it go and trust that we have the unknown resilience to go beyond.

Knowledge will bring you to the precipice for sure, but after that you have to understand your own fundamental natural instincts.

You can’t know yourself in that realm, you have to feel your way in.

You can’t think your way to your best performances.

When you examine your best performances, it will be obvious that it is quite the opposite.

Your best performances will always be surrounded and carried by flow. The pain leaves as fast as it accumulates through your own deeper acceptance and the internal yes that comes with it.

You can’t conceptualise, philosophise or follow ideologies in here, you have to go past it all and reach the singularity within yourself where you and the process cease to be a duality and become a flow.

While ever you are still in judgment, there’s two of you in that suck, the truth of what is happening and the story you are making of it.

One of ‘ems gotta go right?

You have to get to a point where you are not standing outside of it, because friends, you gotta get inside it, embrace it and become it.

This is not an embrainment, it’s an embodiment!

We have made the complexity of this process so heady that athletes are losing their capacity to race.

We are losing our own basic trust in ourselves because we are farming the process out to AI and algorithms.

Trust me, when the piano drops onto your back, it’s your body intelligence and your capacity to truly listen that will carry your chances to absorb it and go beyond the story.
